The purpose of the American Red Cross r. 24 Limited-Edition Lifeguarding Instructor Recertification course is to give instructors who are expired by no more than 1 year and did not qualify to participate in the r.24 Lifeguarding Instructor Update online course the opportunity and path to update to the r.24 Lifeguarding program and earn an r.24 Lifeguarding Instructor certification. This limited-edition course is only available through December 31, 2024.
Course Prerequisites
Possess a current, or expired by no more than 1-year, American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor certification.
Successfully complete the r.24 online sessions for the Limited-Edition Lifeguarding Instructor Recertification course prior to the in-person session:
o Basic-level Lifeguarding blended learning online content
o Lifeguarding Instructor Update online content
o Lifeguarding Instructor Recertification online content
